Hey Loves! I hope you all had an incredible weekend and are ready for a week filled with love, laughs, and the re-playing of the Valentine’s Day movie over and over again. Has anyone ever came to the point where they don’t choke up when Julia Roberts returns home from the army to see her son for like 12 hours?! Oh my goodness… I still get a lump in my throat every.single.time (and I’ve seen the movie upwards of 30 times). Even though I know it’s coming, it’s still the part of the story that I anticipate the most!

Thank you to everyone who took time out to read my last blog post about my late, beautiful dog – Tess. I sincerely appreciate all of your heartfelt comments and messages on Instagram.

One of my best friends, Amie (the Grandmother of the group…) turned 27 over the weekend (I was joking about the Grandmother comment… kind of… well, not really. Like at all). She invited me, my boyfriend, her husband (obviously), and a few more of our friends along for a gorgeous meal of Tapas and drinks. It was a night filled with laughs, reminiscing, and wise cracks about how Amie is maturing like good, strong cheese.

Speaking of cheese, if you follow me on Instagram, you’ll know that I am currently monitoring myself for Lactose intolerance. Super exciting… not. Some of you beautiful soul’s read my story and offered some wisdom, recipes and medication. Since following some of the advice, I have felt so much better! After constantly being bloated, uncomfortable and irritated for well over a year, I now feel a lot freer! I actually felt myself, again! Comfortable, confident and content. So much so, I didn’t feel self conscious wearing a figure-hugging outfit for the first time in a while to celebrate Amie being one step closer to a zimmer frame!
Before you think that I’m crazy, my reasoning behind not wanting to wear a  figure hugging outfit wasn’t because I thought I looked overweight or anything. That wasn’t the case. I just felt so uncomfortable in tight-fitting clothing… almost claustrophobic. I felt like I had to give my stomach as much room as it needed to do it’s thing and bloat, haha!

Anyway, feeling healthy and happy, I couldn’t pass up an opportunity to snap some impromptu pictures of my outfit, makeup and hair. Make sure to shop the look from top to bottom, below. Enjoy, Babes! xo
