Current Favourite Beauty Products

Hi my Beautiful’s! I hope your day is going great. Today, I just wanted to share with you some of my current Beauty favourites – all of which I received for Christmas!

I’ve never been one to splurge on expensive make-up – I tend to just stick to my drugstore/high street buys.

Funnily enough, I headed to the Mac and Nars counters and spoke to two lovely assistants who managed to match me with my correct shade in the products that I’d researched for the night before. I ended up with some of the products featured below.

Aside from my Mac and Nars purchases, I also unexpectedly (but so excitingly) received the incredible Carli Bybel Palette by my all-time favourite YouTuber (Carli Bybel), from my gorgeous sister Lucy which I have been wanting #forlikeever. I also received a beautiful Chanel Rounge Allure Velvet lipstick from my soon to be brother and sister-in-law in the shade ‘37 L’Exubérante‘.

Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet Lipstick in shade 37 L’Exubérante.

MAC Studio Fix Fluid SPF15 in shade NC15   |   MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Powder Natural in shade Medium   |   Nars Radient Creamy Concealer in shade Chantilly   |   Same shown below

Carli Bybel Palette including 14 Eye Colour Shadow + Highlighter Palette

Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet Lipstick: Creamy Texture with a luminous matte finish and velvet feel. The packaging is just beautiful, too! Available here.

MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation in shade NC15: Beautiful colour match to my skin. The MAC assistant said that I was in between shades NC15 and NC20 but I decided to go with NC15 knowing that I can always add colour when contouring. The texture is incredibly smooth and application is so effortless. This foundation provides fantastic medium-full coverage without appearing or feeling cakey. My new favourite foundation by far! Available here.

MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in shade Medium: I was looking for the perfect foundation setting powder that paired well and complimented the foundation I chose.  This powder works great for dry and sensitive skin like I have. It goes hand-in-hand and works with the foundation (mentioned above) perfectly! Available here.

Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in shade Chantilly: Over the past few years working closely within the makeup industry, I have bounced from one concealer to another not really finding the one that seemed right for me. Upon doing some research, I decided to try out this concealer and I am so happy that I did! Like the MAC Studio Fix Fluid, Nars provides full coverage with this Radiant Creamy Concealer without looking cakey. This product leaves you with perfectly concealed and highlighted under eyes, cheekbones, centre of nose, forehead and cupids bow (I don’t tend to highlight my chin – although that’s totally up to personal preference).  I definitely feel as though I’ve found the one with this product! Available here.

Carli Bybel Eye Shadow and Highlighter Palette by BH Cosmetics: The reason I wanted this palette so much is because my sister and I adore YouTuber Carli Bybel. I couldn’t wait to try this palette out as the eye shadow colours completely compliment my skin tone and complexion. The colours in this palette are fantastic – they are very neutral but with a plum shade to them which makes them so wearable for every skin tone. The highlighter selection is unbelievably pigmented and blow other highlighters I have tried completely out of the water. You honestly can’t go wrong with this palette – I reach for it every day. Available here.
